1) To provide quality education for the children of the St. Clair School District and give them every opportunity available to excel. 2) To maintain the current facilities that we have and continue to improve them as funding is available. 3) Continue to provide a positive work environment for our employees and staff.
I have served on the school board since 1993 and have been very involved in education, always striving to do the best we can with the finances we receive. I have worked on several building projects and feel like I have been an asset to the board. When making any decision in the board room, I ask myself if it is what would be good for kids and our taxpayers.

My motivation for joining the school board comes from a genuine desire to make a positive impact on our children’s journeys. My priorities are: 1). teacher retention; 2). student equity, academic excellence, hard work and the social-emotional development of each student; and 3). being the “voice” that listens and supports the students, teachers and the community.
I have 14 years of continuing education with LIUNA’s apprenticeship program as the senior instructor. I am an active VP of our city park board, active VP of the Junior Dog football organization and involved with organizations such as the Elks and the American Legion. I strive to make my community a place of positivity and growth. There’s education in all things.
