1) With two failed propositions, the community has spoken; it's time for the college to refocus, listen and earn trust. 2) As AI begins to replace certain jobs, it's time to strengthen skilled trades. 3) With income and property tax revenues tightening, the college must reevaluate its spending priorities.
A small business owner for over 20 years and a current R-13 school board member, I have a proven voting record of fiscal responsibility and support for students. For the past two years, I have attended East Central College board meetings to understand its challenges. I am committed to transparency, accountability and workforce education that serves students and taxpayers.
