Managing large capital projects in times of a challenging Town budget. Important goals include expanding housing types (affordable, senior, middle income) so families, young /old can afford to live here. Within that, coordinating housing with other town plans (mobility, climate, land use) so growth supports sustainability and livability rather than straining these ideals. Increase affordability of commercial space so independent shops/restaurants can thrive.
Relevant Experience I have lived in Wellesley since 2012 and have been a Town Meeting Member for Precinct D since 2018.
I believe Wellesley needs to reform the way it approaches development to ensure all residents and neighbors have a chance to be heard. I believe we need to modernize our school facilities including adding air conditioning to the remaining schools that don't have it. I also believe our public schools need to be more transparent and accountable to residents.
Relevant Experience Town Mtg Member 2018 - present; Board Member, Wellesley Council on Aging 2020-2024
Crafting a path forward to create real housing options for downsizing, as well as diverse affordable options for housing -achieving this while maintaining an environmental and esthetic balance within neighborhoods. Another goal will be to slow the escalation of taxes, making careful decisions regarding spending while ensuring competitive wages for employees and renovation of the aging schools.
Relevant Experience Long time Town Meeting member. Served 3 year term on the Advisory Committee
- Return academic rigor/excellence to WPS - Protect our open spaces including Mass Bay land - Preserve the single family character of our neighborhoods with carefully planned and fully vetted multi- family housing in non-single family zoned districts

I believe key goals should be maintaining Wellesley schools’ excellence, both the academics, and the physical buildings; meeting housing needs while preserving important green space and addressing the impact on traffic, schools, and other town resources; energizing Wellesley’s commercial areas; and supporting climate action plans, including energy efficiency, recycling, and mobility efforts.
Relevant Experience 10-year resident | 2 WPS kids | active in PTOs | strategy, operations & finance professional
• FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Long-term capital planning; project prioritization; transparency; value for investment • HOUSING: Urgency to confirm goals and strategy; a comprehensive approach to support a thriving community (e.g. infrastructure, diversity) • SCHOOLS: Planning for the next year and the next decade; maintain schools as a significant town asset and source of pride
