1). Reallocate unearned insurance premiums from previous years to reduce out-of-pocket costs for faculty/staff. 2). Hire needed full-time faculty. 3). Promote a robust anti-retaliation policy that encourages employees to report unethical, illegal or unsafe behavior without fear of punishment, fostering a transparent, compliant and positive workplace culture.
As a former professor and program coordinator at St. Louis Community College, my experience will provide strong foundational insight regarding the institution's core mission, students' experiences, faculty issues, policies and procedures. My doctorate in higher education administration provides insight into finances, law and high-level strategic leadership skills.

My top three priorities are: improving student outcomes by expanding the support services students need to succeed while maintaining affordability for working families; aligning academic programs with regional workforce needs by expanding health sciences and skilled technical programs; and completing a new strategic plan in 2027 that prepares STLCC for long-term success.
I possess a unique blend of public service and higher education experience that has prepared me to serve effectively in this position. I have spent five years on my local school board and I have 10 years of community college experience, five in student services and five as a faculty member, giving me a comprehensive understanding of student needs and college operations.
