I have been on both sides of the table as an educator and parent. With 34 years of being a parent with a child currently in the district and over 30 years in education, from classroom teacher to superintendent intern, I have seen it all. As a candidate for the Pattonville School Board, my top three priorities are ensuring high-quality education, maintaining safe learning environments and upholding strong fiscal responsibility.
I am a retired teacher who spent 31 years working in the Pattonville School District. During my tenure as an elementary teacher, I served on several curriculum committees and the calendar committee. I also spent the majority of my career active in the teachers' union at the local, state and national levels where I spent time advocating for public education.

I served on the PTO from elementary through high school and spent many hours helping at concession stands, school events and fundraisers that support students and staff. Being consistently present allowed me to build relationships with teachers, administrators and families, and better understand daily needs inside our schools. Volunteering at events where needed.
