1). I believe every child deserves to be seen, heard and valued. 2). With the rise in mental health challenges, learning disabilities and concerns about school safety, we must prioritize the well-being of every student. 3). Every child deserves access to a strong education that prepares them for success.
I serve as a children’s pastor at Remix Church in Maryland Heights, with years of experience supporting children, teens and families. I lead volunteers, manage budgets and am an involved parent who volunteers in classrooms, PTOs and school events in the Pattonville School District.

1). Amplifying unheard family voices through advocacy and accessibility, bridging the gap between administration and community. 2). Championing special education and student support, understanding the journey as a parent of a child with autism. 3). Leveraging over 30 years of educational expertise. I'm informed leadership who eliminates the learning curve.
I have been on both sides of the table as an educator and parent. With 34 years of being a parent with a child currently in the district and over 30 years in education, from classroom teacher to superintendent intern, I have seen it all. I have researched what keeps good teachers and worked with families to keep their children in school as SSD PAC president, 2021-23.

As a candidate for the Pattonville School Board, my top three priorities are ensuring high-quality education, maintaining safe learning environments and upholding strong fiscal responsibility.
I am a retired teacher who spent 31 years working in the Pattonville School District. During my tenure as an elementary teacher, I served on several curriculum committees and the calendar committee. I also spent the majority of my career active in the teachers' union at the local, state and national levels where I spent time advocating for public education.
Age 52

Students first: provide equal opportunities, strong support and a positive learning environment for every student. Support educators: value teachers and ensure they have the tools and respect needed to succeed. Community voice: listen to families and reflect the diversity of the district in decision-making.
I served on the PTO from elementary through high school and spent many hours helping at concession stands, school events and fundraisers that support students and staff. Being consistently present allowed me to build relationships with teachers, administrators and families, and better understand daily needs inside our schools. Volunteering at events where needed.
