We must keep schools physically secure and emotionally safe for students and adults alike. Financial planning will continue to be a critical focus as proposed tax reductions, along with school choice and voucher legislation, threaten funding. We need to continue addressing equity for all students by matching resources to student needs.
For nearly three decades, I've been an educator in the St. Louis region, including serving in Ladue schools and as an administrator for the Special School District and several other St. Louis County school districts. Equity and social justice advocacy have been central to my work, including my role facilitating adult equity learning through the Equity Exchange Institute.

The Ladue School District must navigate emerging fiscal headwinds. This requires protecting our AAA rating and $2.75 levy while maintaining facilities. We will prioritize safety through sustained investment and policy. Finally, we must empower our district's educators by identifying best practices that ensure they thrive professionally.
As the school board secretary and father of two students enrolled in the district, I am seeking re-election to continue collaborating to serve our students, staff and families. I remain committed to supporting college and career readiness, ensuring student well-being and securing the long-term financial health to deliver on the district's mission.

As a three-term incumbent, I am committed to academic excellence, responsible fiscal stewardship and strong local control. Ladue Schools thrive when every student is supported, taxpayer dollars are managed carefully and decisions reflect our diverse community’s values. I will continue providing steady, collaborative leadership focused on student success and stability.
I am in my ninth year on the Board of Education, a past board president and currently serving as treasurer. I have served on the curriculum and instruction and facilities and finance committees, guiding academic, budget and facility decisions. I represent Ladue on the Missouri School Boards Association board and am chair of the Special School District's governing council.

My top three priorities for the Ladue Board of Education are: ensuring academic excellence through rigorous standards and talented staff; strengthening school safety and student well-being with proactive measures and mental health support; and fostering open, transparent community engagement to build trust and accountability.
I have a long history protecting communities and schools starting as a St. Louis County police officer prior to a U.S. Secret Service career. Now overseeing K-12 school security, I work closely with school districts nationwide to strengthen safety protocols, boost preparedness and foster community trust, allowing students and educators to focus on academic success.
