I am the current Will County Clerk serving in this position since 2024 and believe it is important to lead by example. I have a proven track record as a leader in government, business and as a community volunteer. I have considerable experience in government finance and operations. Prior to being elected as the Will County Clerk, I served as a Will County Board member and President of the Forest Preserve District of Will County. I was elected to the Lockport Township Park District Board (volunteer position). I previously worked as the Director of Marketing at the Rialto Square Theatre and as the Executive Director of the Lockport Chamber of Commerce overseeing staff, operations and events. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Lewis University.
The biggest challenge to all election authorities throughout the U.S. is the perceived lack of honesty, transparency and accuracy in the way we conduct our voter registration duties, ballot counting and election day activities. I will continue to make my office transparent and proactive rather than reactive. That includes clearly documenting and publicly explaining our procedures for voter registration, ballot processing, chain of custody, and tabulation. I will expand public observation opportunities, improve training and consistency for election judges and staff, and ensure that accurate, timely information is shared before, during, and after elections. Trust and integrity is built through consistency, visibility, and accountability.
The Clerk office is a key source of voter information and education. Disseminating clear information, engaging in community outreach and equity efforts, and hosting special programs help lower informational barriers, so voters feel informed, capable, and confident participating. It also plays a supportive role in broader civic participation by enabling citizen involvement, partnering with schools, nonprofits, and community groups and by making registration and participation as frictionless as possible, In essence, the Clerk’s office helps strengthen democracy by making voting accessible, educating and informing voters, maintaining lawful, accurate, and transparent processes and building public trust through openness and responsiveness.
The Clerk’s staff already does a great job however there is always room for improvement. Being trained in customer service and de-escalation, providing clear signage, offering bi-lingual materials and access to language assistance , giving timely updates through the website, social media and press releases and answering calls and emails within a defined timeframe is highly beneficial. Presently, the office is being modernized through contemporary electronic pay methods, exploring digitization and improved online requests of vital records and election integration processes. All can be accomplished by treating every customer with respect, communicating clearly, follow the law consistently, and operate in a way the public can see and trust.

As Director of Workforce Services, I have built my career in public service with leadership and operational management skills that align with the Will County Clerk’s Office. I oversee daily operations, staff, policies, and competing priorities while ensuring accurate, timely project completion. I lead with transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement to manage complex workflows under strict deadlines. I also work to reduce barriers residents face—such as transportation, technology, language, or financial challenges—by creating accessible, customer-focused processes. My experience is grounded in integrity, neutrality, professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance, preparing me to support the Clerk’s mission.
Top issues facing the Clerk’s office are ensuring accessible and secure elections by expanding early voting and vote-by-mail options to ALL eligible voters, investing in training and technology that protect election integrity, and maintaining accurate voter rolls. Recognizing these challenges, I will expand early voting and vote-by-mail options by working with municipalities to increase the number of locations, hours, and public awareness and convenience for voters. Updating systems to modernize technology to strengthen transparency, security, and integrity of the election system. Another way to maintain public trust is to prioritize transparency, communicate clearly, and build strong partnerships with the County's election authorities.
The Clerk’s Office is the official record keeper for the County government and plays a vital role in ensuring transparency in elections. This includes providing clear, accessible election information, issuing regular public updates and press releases, sharing real-time results, and allowing open observation of election procedures. Communication must be delivered in multiple formats to reach residents countywide. The Clerk’s Office can also strengthen civic engagement by encouraging voter registration, election judge or poll watcher service, campaign involvement, and efforts that protect voters and build public trust in democracy.
To create an efficient, welcoming, and responsive office, I would implement feedback mechanisms from voters and volunteers to guide improvements, streamline forms and services for easier access, and provide clear, accessible training for election judges and poll watchers. I would also expand accessibility by offering multilingual materials and pop-up services that reduce barriers and encourage more inclusive participation for all voters.
