Wellesley Housing Authority - 4 Year Term
Five residents: three are elected by the Town, one is appointed by the Mass Department of Community Affairs, and one is a Housing Authority resident who is appointed by the Select Board. The Authority is charged with planning, constructing, operating and maintaining public housing for families, veterans and elderly of low income. The Authority hires an executive director who manages the day-day operations of the properties (Barton Road, Waldo Court, River Street, Weston Road, Washington Street, and Morton Circle).The budget for the Housing Authority is appropriated by the State. The Board meets monthly and at other times as required.

I am running for re-election to WHA Board because stable, affordable housing is foundational to a healthy and inclusive community—and this work matters deeply to me. Since being elected in 2021, I have seen firsthand how thoughtful governance, transparency, and resident engagement can improve both trust and outcomes. I am committed to continuing this work with experience, continuity, and accountability, ensuring the Housing Authority remains responsive to residents while meeting its obligations.
My Priorities
-Expanding opportunities for all to be heard at regular community meetings, accessible Citizen Speak, and clear communication.
-Support initiatives to strengthen civic participation, including accessible voting locations and community- centered spaces.
