The Illinois House is made up of 118 representatives elected from legislative districts.McLean County is divided among five different Illinois State House districts.The state legislature makes state law, passes resolutions, adopts spending bills, and has the power to impeach judges. The Illinois House convenes in Springfield.Each lawmaker must be at least 21 years of age and a resident of the district in which they serve for at least two years.
