McLean County Board District 1

McLean County Board (District 1) McLean County is divided into 10 districts, with two Board members elected from each district. The County Board establishes tax rates; administers the activities of county departments and offices; adopts an annual budget; reviews zoning, planning and land use; and enacts ordinances. What qualifications and experiences would you bring to the County Board, if elected?

I have a strong administrative background, having been president of a private practice cardiology group for many years. I also served as chief of staff of a large multispecialty hospital for a year, with other senior administrative roles both a year before and a year after I held that role. Additionally, I feel that my medical background provides expertise and issues that pertain to the health department and the county board health committee.
1. Affordable housing. 2. Access to healthcare and mental healthcare. 3. Job growth. 4. Tax levies
1. Improve infrastructure and services to rural parts of McLean County. 2. Provide needed additional support and resources to police and first responders that keep our community safe. 3. Investigate options to further decrease tax levies.
