Cook County Clerk

The Cook County Clerk is the official custodian of Cook County records and books. The office is responsible for maintaining birth, death, and marriage certificates; issuing marriage applications and licenses; maintaining the minutes and agendas of Cook County Board meetings; recording, storing, and providing public records for land transactions; and registering voters and administering all elections in Suburban Cook County.
