I seek the office of the Governor as hate, greed, corruption and division doesn’t belong in any government office. As Governor, you’re there to enhance the lives of our people toward a prosperous healthy community that’s striving and supporting a safe environment to live and thrives.
Grew up here and started as a regular everyday working class citizen,my first job being taxed at age 15 yrs.old at a Tyson Food factory, then found myself a single mom at age 19 yrs old. Worked 4 jobs to survive. Through my consistent hardwork, determination, fearless attitude and competed my way upward into management, as a corporate executive, community leader, philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur of over 25 plus years, I know what it’s required to governor a state to be competitive toward a successful economy. It is imperative that we have a strong educations, affordable healthcare for all and by putting our People1st and inclusion to propel consistent growth for the people of our beautiful natural state of Arkansas.
First thing I plan to do is to take an immediately review of our minimum wage for our state of Arkansas with my experienced experts to overhaul it to give our citizens some relief. I plan on ensuring our citizens and people of our state can be proud to live here and not leave Arkansas as we will have a DECENT talk about, and a PROUD living wage. Right now it’s at $12. I would propose to increase minimum WAGE start rate at $15 to $18 dollars an hour and that they will not need to seek a second job as it’ll be an option for our citizens. This will help lift the heavy burden and relief so our hardworking citizens can pay their bills, buy groceries, medicine and not have to decide between food or medicine!
