Education Advocate
I’m an educator, advocate, and entrepreneur with decades of experience working directly with public schools, families, and community organizations. I’ve served in multiple school districts, where I didn’t just see problem, I worked to solve them and spoke up when systems failed the people they were meant to serve.
I founded Teach Another Inc. to focus on accountability, equity, and real solutions, helping families navigate complex systems and supporting students and communities across our region. What qualifies me most is lived experience. I understand how decisions made in Austin impact everyday people because I’ve worked alongside them.
I lead with integrity, faith, and a people-first mindset, and I’m committed to serving.
1. Workforce Readiness and Education-to-Career Pathways: I will advocate for expanded funding for career and technical education, adult retraining programs, and apprenticeships, especially for veterans, displaced workers, and recent graduates so education leads directly to opportunity.
2. Infrastructure, Flooding, and Cost-of-Living Pressures: Families are paying the price for aging infrastructure, flooding, and rising property costs. I will push for targeted state investment in flood mitigation, drainage, and road repairs, while demanding transparency and accountability in how those dollars are spent. I will work to protect homeowners and seniors from being taxed out of their communities by supporting property tax relief.
I’m a husband, father, and grandfather who believes leadership is about service. I’ve spent my career working with families, students, and communities, helping people navigate systems that are often confusing and unfair. My faith and life experience guide me to lead with integrity, compassion, and accountability. I’m running because I believe government should work for everyday people, and because I’m committed to putting people first and changing the narrative through action, not just talk.
I believe every Texas child deserves access to a high-quality public education, no matter their ZIP code or the school they attend. Public schools are the backbone of our communities, and they must be fully funded, protected, and strengthened even as families explore different education options. I support increasing per-student funding, investing in teacher pay, training, retention, and expanding support services such as special education, counseling, and mental health resources. My focus is on collaboration, not competition, strengthening neighborhood schools while ensuring parents have honest information and students have the support they need to succeed. I will always put students and families first.
Healthcare should be accessible and affordable for every Texan, not a privilege based on income, age, or ZIP code. Too many families are forced to delay care because of cost, and that leads to worse outcomes and higher long-term expenses for everyone.
I support expanding access to affordable coverage, strengthening community health clinics, and investing in mental health services and preventive care. I will work to lower prescription drug costs, protect seniors and people with chronic conditions, and ensure rural and underserved communities have access to doctors, specialists, and emergency services. A healthier Texas starts with putting people first and making healthcare work for those who need it most.
Water is a basic necessity, not a luxury, and Texas must take a long-term, responsible approach to protecting our water supply. Our growing population, aging infrastructure, and extreme weather make it clear that doing nothing is not an option. I support investing in water infrastructure upgrades to reduce leaks and waste, expanding water reuse and conservation programs, and protecting our groundwater and surface water from overuse and contamination. I will advocate for stronger oversight and transparency to ensure public water resources are managed in the public interest and not driven by unchecked privatization.
A strong Texas economy should work for everyone, not just those already doing well. Creating good-paying jobs starts with investing in people and meeting communities where they are.
I support expanding workforce training and apprenticeship programs that connect students and adults directly to high-demand, good-paying careers. That includes strengthening partnerships between public schools, community colleges, labor organizations, and local businesses so training leads to real jobs, not dead ends. I will advocate for small business support, local entrepreneurship, and responsible economic development that prioritizes hiring locally and paying fair wages. When the state offers incentives, there must be clear accountability.
Every eligible Texan should have the ability to vote easily, securely, and without unnecessary barriers. Protecting voting rights is not partisan, it’s about ensuring our democracy works for everyone. I support measures that make voter registration simple and accessible, expand early voting, and ensure polling locations are convenient and adequately staffed. At the same time, elections must remain secure, with clear standards and oversight to protect against fraud. I also oppose gerrymandering in any form. District lines should be drawn fairly, not manipulated for political gain, so that every Texan’s voice truly counts.

I bring nearly two decades of experience enforcing Texas law and protecting public safety at the highest level of responsibility. As District Attorney, I led a major law-enforcement office and made decisions that directly impacted community safety. I have personally visited the Texas border and prosecuted cases involving human and sex trafficking tied to cartel and smuggling activity, giving me firsthand experience with the real consequences of border failures on our communities. I also worked closely with legislators to help pass laws strengthening public safety and supporting law enforcement statewide. As Montgomery County's DA, I delivered results while responsibly managing taxpayer resources.
The biggest issues facing Senate District 4 are property tax reform and border security. I will work to deliver meaningful property tax reform by advocating the limit of excessive appraisal increases and reducing the reliance on property taxes. I will also support strong state-level border enforcement efforts targeting cartel activity and human trafficking.
Service in the Texas Senate would be a continuation of my lifelong commitment to protecting public safety, securing the border, defending family values, and exercising fiscal discipline. The Senate requires leaders who understand the real-world consequences of weak policies and who are prepared to act decisively. I will bring proven law-and-order leadership, practical experience, and conservative principles to the policymaking process to the Texas Senate, safeguarding Texas and its future.

Public schools should be fully funded, transparent, and focused on academic excellence, not political ideology. Support should prioritize classroom instruction, teacher resources, and local control, while holding schools accountable for student outcomes. Parents should have the ability to choose the educational setting that best fits their child, but school choice policies should strengthen—not undermine—public education. Protecting teachers, empowering parents, and maintaining high standards are essential to preparing students for success.

The state should focus on increasing access to care, especially in rural and underserved areas, by supporting workforce development, telemedicine, and innovative care delivery models. Cost transparency and competition should be encouraged to lower prices, while reducing bureaucratic barriers that drive up costs. The role of state government is to promote access, protect patients, and ensure a healthy population—without overregulation or one-size-fits-all mandates.
