Term: 2 yearsSalary: $19,923 (2023)David Bortolotto is running unopposed to retain the position he took over in January 2019, when the former Council president, Matthew Castelli, became mayor. Bortolotto won the council president seat on his own six years ago but has served on City Council since 2001 (first as Ward 3 Councilman, then as Councilman-at-Large starting in 2013). City Council is composed of seven members who are elected to serve two-year terms. The city is divided into four wards. The voters in each ward elect a council member. Three council members, including the council president, are elected citywide on an at-large basis.The League of Women Voters is not sending questionnaires in uncontested races.
