Political Philosophy
Keep Madeira Thriving! Madeira is an amazing community, and dedicated leadership can make it even stronger!
I have been a productive leader on Madeira City Council since 2024. I was a volunteer on Parks & Rec since 2021 leading our City's Largest Event and the Project Team. My "day job" is being an Engineering Senior Director at P&G working on Laundry.
All my priorities link to keeping Madeira Thriving!
1. Our most important job on council is public safety through support of our Police, Fire, and Public Works teams.
2. Fiscal responsibility especially on project execution as I chair the Public Works committee. Maintaining our general fund reserve is one of our most important responsibilities.
3. Community Improvement guided by Comprehensive Plan that I helped to author as a citizen volunteer. This includes economic development and facilities.

Political Philosophy
Politics exist to serve the interests of the people. As a politician, the interest of the greater good should come before my own gain, always.
As a former Ohio State Representative, political social worker, policy and civics educator, and community member who served on city council appointed committees, I am uniquely qualified to serve the city of Madeira.
My top priorities as a city councilperson include 1) creation of a “Healthy People, Healthy Community” initiative to foster and encourage an active community and make Madeira a destination for healthy lifestyles 2) updating the city charter to align with current language and attitudes, and 3) creation and revision of city policies that support growth in our downtown business district, making Madeira a premier destination for people in the Greater Cincinnati community.
