Buckeye Lake Village Mayor

The Mayor is the elected, village-wide executive officer of a village. The Mayor enforces laws and ordinances, oversees village operations and employees, supervises officers, recommends measures to council, and serves as the chief peace officer. In villages without a municipal court, the Mayor may also preside over a Mayor’s Court for certain misdemeanor and traffic cases.Source: Ohio Revised Code §§ 733.02, 733.23, 1905.01
