If re-elected, my top priorities will be centered on the 2025 Strategic Plan. First, I'm committed to developing a comprehensive, transparent Master Facility Plan. This is about more than just buildings; it's about creating safe, modern learning spaces for future generations. My goal is to involve the community to ensure our facilities truly meet the needs of students and staff. Second, I will expand and promote diverse pathways for student success. We must prepare students for their chosen path, whether it's college, a trade, a career, or military service. I will work to broaden our academic, career, and life skills programs so every student graduates with the tools to thrive.
I'll continue working with the steering committee and ensure the Master Facility Plan reports are accessible. My focus is on collaborating with the superintendent, treasurer, and administration to create a transparent, fiscally sound plan that serves our community.

For student success, I will continue to request data on program enrollment and outcomes to identify gaps. I'll continue to update policies to support new partnerships and promote these diverse pathways. My goal is to ensure all students, regardless of background, have equal access to the tools they need to thrive after graduation.

1) Work collaboratively with our District students, staff, administrators and our community members to implement our newly approved strategic plan. 2) Continue to advocate for full funding of the Ohio Fair School Funding plan.
Prioritize and build a timeline to implement the subgoals and goals in the plan. Provide a timeline and updates to our district staff and our community. Utilize our board meetings and workshops to receive updates on the different goals. Continue to build relationships with our local representation at the State level as well as other school districts and educational service centers to collaborate on ways to tell our stories and share our message on the importance of the Fair School Funding plan and its importance to local school districts.

If elected, I would work to continue the excellence of Boardman Schools. It is my goal to control expenditures while exploring new ways to generate revenue for the district. With the attack on property taxes, revenue generation will be a top priority.
I would like to work with the treasurer to explore ways to reduce excess expenditures while still maintaining a competitive edge in compensation for our educators. I also believe that we can do more with college credit courses and promoting the arts—things that set Boardman schools apart from the rest.
