To continue my work in assisting the Village of Poland to remain a safe community. Secondly, to help the Village of Poland remain financially stable and aid in the financial growth of our assets.
I have had the pleasure of serving on the Police Committee the past four years. In that capacity I’ve worked hard alongside other volunteers to help with the passage of our police levy and the levy to aid the Western Reserve Joint Fire District. I have also worked diligently toward approving the “Safe Passage to School “ project and look forward to being involved as that becomes a reality, as well as the passage of the Sheridan Road Project that will improve the walking and bicycling safety in our community. On the financial front, I’ve served on the Finance Committee for the Village of Poland for the last two years. If re-elected, I will continue on the committee to work alongside our fiscal officer to ensure financial integrity is maintained in our decisions. I will investigate and research every proposal that comes before the group always with the intend to act on the best interests of our citizens.

1. Improving Village government transparency and communication with citizens. 2. Updating procedures for filling boards and committees to provide more opportunities for community involvement.
Since joining the Village Council in April, I’ve been working to keep the village website and Facebook pages up to date. I’m also ensuring the agendas for every village council meeting are posted so that citizens know what will be discussed. That way community members can attend meetings to voice opinions on topics that concern them.

I'm also working to change the process to fill vacancies on boards and committees. The current process doesn’t advertise the openings to the community, and there is very little input on the selections by the council. I’m working to make the entire process more transparent, which will provide the opportunity for interested citizens to see open seats on the website and apply if they are interested.

1) Continue to provide top notch safety and streets.

2) Finish the Forest Connector project which I lobbied Columbus to the tune of $300,000.
Stay the course on safety and streets. Make sure the project adheres to the plan that is in place.
