The Board hires and evaluates the superintendent and treasurer, establishes the vision and goals for the district, and manages the budget. Boards ensure the district has adequate funds and safe, appropriate facilities. Boards are involved in planning and implementing strategies for continuous improvement of the school system. Board members are liaisons between the school district and the community.

Will provide a strong commitment and focus for the district's welfare while establishing harmony and open communication, which will result in a strong working and learning environment everyone can be proud of.
With forty-six years of educational experience while working in various positions in the Struthers City Schools and the state of Ohio has given me the foundation and knowledge to successfully continue our strong traditions and tackle the challenges facing our district in the future. My goal moving forward is to work towards a future where ALL students will be provided with a high-quality education which will help prepare them for their future.

I WILL BE INVESTED IN OUR SCHOOLS, FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE.
