My top priorities are to preserve the rural character of Ellsworth Township and to keep the wide open spaces and large lot sizes the township is known for and the residents have come to expect. I will work to preserve family farms and open farm land and work to protect the community from rapid growth.
I am dedicated to working with our community to maintain our agricultural / residential based township. Ellsworth residents have come to enjoy a quiet, peaceful community in a rural setting. I am committed to helping land owners keep family farms in the hands of people who wish to continue farming. I will work to protect the community from rapid growth. I am a life long resident who is devoted to maintaining the rural character of our township. I have over 26 years experience working in an office setting. I grew up around agriculture and have been on my property since 1998, with over 27 years running the farm. I have put my Ohio Real Estate License on deposit with the state so I can concentrate fully on the job of township trustee with zero conflict of interest. I have had my commission to practice as notary public for the State of Ohio since 1992.

My first priority is and continues to be fiscal responsibility and maintaining a balanced budget. Transparent use of the taxpayers' money is essential as well as long term planning for infrastructure and services. Considering the many long term costly improvements and property acquisitions we have made, all are paid in full. My second priority is Public Safety. Our Fire/EMS Department is reliably available to our residents in their time of need, in a cost-effective manner. The average response time is 6 minutes, a major improvement from the all volunteer days. Ellsworth hosts the Sheriff's substation #2 and the Sheriff's Department provides their services at no cost to the township.
If re-elected as Trustee, I will continue to execute wise spending of the taxpayer dollar. Balanced budgets, spending transparency and cost-saving measures remain paramount. I will strive to pursue grants and plan for the future of Ellsworth Township. Supporting our first responders and investing in our town's infrastructure will only strengthen our town's stability and quality of life. Safety continues to be a top concern of mine. For nearly a decade, I created, maintain and manage the Ellsworth Township Crime Watch Facebook Page. Recognizing that crime has no boundaries, the site serves Ellsworth and all Western Mahoning County communities. I developed and oversee ways to keep the public informed: Facebook: Everything Ellsworth Ohio Instagram: @ellsworthohio Township Website: ellsworthohio.com By focusing on smart financial planning and proactive safety measures, I will continue working to ensure our township remains a safe, thriving and financially stable place for all of our residents.
