I bring over 20 years of leadership experience in strategic planning, collaboration, and problem-solving. As mayor, I have guided Saint Peter through complex challenges by listening first, finding common ground, and focusing on what unites us. I care deeply about responsible stewardship–of our finances, natural resources, and upcoming building projects that will shape our community for generations. My approach is nonpartisan and rooted in service. I want to continue bringing people together to strengthen Saint Peter’s future while preserving the values that make our community a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
1. Stewardship of major building projects–City Hall, wastewater plant, and Gorman Park–to ensure they are managed responsibly and meet community needs.
2. Expanding a variety of housing options so residents of all ages and incomes can thrive here.
3. Promoting sustainability and belonging to support long-term vitality, environmental health, and a welcoming community for all.
I will continue fostering open communication, sharing clear updates on projects and budgets, and encouraging resident participation. I believe in proactive transparency--making information easy to find and understand, not just available. I will hold myself and city leadership accountable to high ethical standards while ensuring decisions are made openly, fairly, and in the best interests of the entire community.
I will continue to attend neighborhood and community events and provide regular communication through multiple channels. I will also support accessible forums and surveys so all residents can weigh in on major decisions, especially upcoming building and streets projects. Listening to diverse perspectives strengthens trust and ensures city government reflects the voices and priorities of the people we serve.
Public safety works best when built on trust and strong relationships. I will support community-oriented policing that fosters respect, fairness, and partnership between law enforcement and residents. By encouraging dialogue, focusing on prevention, and ensuring equitable treatment, we can keep Saint Peter a place where everyone feels safe and supported while strengthening the bonds that make our community resilient.
