I bring a unique set of academic, professional and community experiences to the Council. I have a degree in Economics; as an executive at a local IT consulting firm, I helped organizations analyze complex systems and optimize how those systems serve stakeholders.

My extensive work with community organizations in both volunteer and leadership roles informs my understanding of our neighbors’ needs.

While the Council is a part-time position, as a retiree, I have the time and energy to engage with and ensure my constituents know they are heard and seen.

My motivation to run was to provide an option for Ward 2 voters and serve my neighbors. While I am running unopposed, I appreciate the opportunity to earn your vote in November.
Augment private/public partnerships that serve residents’ basic needs.

Ensure that our development decisions enhance and preserve the qualities of our neighborhoods that drew residents to SLP. These decisions will significantly impact Ward 2 residents as the areas adjacent to the three City rail stations are developed.

Help preserve affordability for current residents. Many of our residents, particularly those on fixed incomes, struggle to pay rising property taxes.
I will be holding in-person meetings quarterly with each of my eight Ward 2 neighborhoods. These meetings will provide an opportunity for residents to share their concerns and provide feedback on current issues. Residents can subscribe to my monthly newsletter that will communicate City activities and developments impacting neighborhoods. Additionally, residents will be able to reach out to me directly with ideas or to resolve issues.
I believe Saint Louis Park government is generally transparent and accountable. Our City Council meetings are open and streamed on the City’s public cable channel. As a councilperson, I will encourage my constituents to take an active interest in government activities and attend meetings. My monthly constituent newsletter will provide information on meetings where residents can engage with City leaders and staff.
