Twenty-eight years James A Garfield Board of Education
My role as James A Garfield Board of Education Member is to continue to advocate for what is best for students and represent the collective voice of the community. Additionally it is to build and support district leadership while assisting in establishing our vision and goals. Specific duties include the hiring and evaluation of the superintendent and treasurer as well as setting and approving district policy. I am privileged to have served James A Garfield Schools for the past 28 years and Maplewood Career Center for the past 24 years. I am extremely proud of both districts and the culture and opportunity they provide for our students.
