Experience Served 24 years as firefighter and emt with Troy with the rank of Lieutenant and Fire Chief. Presently serving as Captain on another department. Presently the road Superintendent for Parkman
Volunteer/Community Service Fire fighter Emt
I feel the role of this position is to be there to best represent and serve the residents of Troy. I served for 24 years on the fire department while being fiscally responsible and providing 24/7 fire and ems service to the residents. I am currently serving as a Captain of the Windham Fire department and am the Road department superintendent for Parkman fulltime. I feel my leadership titles and skills will continue to best serve the residents the way they need to be and rest comfortably knowing someone is in office for them.
As a small town the biggest challenge would be maintaining current budgets and projects to keep the township moving while not asking for tax increases. I believe we have a very supportive population and with previous trustees and a job well done working within budgets currently to avoid raising any further taxes. We want to keep residents in Troy where taxes don’t need to raise and they know their tax dollars are being spent fiscally responsible
If elected I would like to work on supporting our towns homecoming festival. While also working with our residents and zoning and not attacking them. Tax payers should not be attacked with their own tax dollars going towards legal fees. I feel working and talking with people coming to a common solution together is a better route while still upholding our rules to keep our town safe, country, affordable and beautiful. As most know the small town festivals and fire departments keep them rolling and is a great way to get out and meet residents and see how wonderful our little town is. I hope to be able and help this grow and continue
Myself will be sure they have atleast two forms of contact for questions or concerns. I feel we need to be able and reach as many residents as possible such as a news letter or some form of being able to advertise events, meetings, and the outcomes of meetings such at township, zoning, fire department ect. This will allow the residents to be kept up to date
