Term: 4 years, commencing 1/1/2026.Responsibilities: Set educational goals, establish policy, plan student services, establish budgets, set goals and long-range planning, create community relations programs and communicate with the public. Employ superintendent and treasurer to manage schools in accordance with school board policies. Decisions are made by the board as a whole at public meetings.

Experience 20 years as a Berkshire School Board member, 6 years as Board President
Volunteer/Community Service Various projects in Burton and Newbury for Berkshire and St. Helen Parish
Project based learning has enabled our students to grow and achieve experience needed to succeed whether it be in the work force or continuing with their education. I would love to find a way to properly fund education in public schools that would not keep asking property owners for more funding. The state needs to fix the problem with us having to keep putting levies on the ballot.
