I bring over 32 years of hands-on experience in accounting and office management, including 26 years as an office manager at a respected local company. I’ve built a career on accuracy, transparency, and trust—qualities that are essential for a Fiscal Officer. I also served eight years as a councilwoman in a neighboring community, where I learned firsthand the importance of responsible governance and listening to the people you serve.

But beyond the numbers and titles, I’m someone who believes deeply in kindness, honesty, and integrity. I’m running for Fiscal Officer because I care about this community and want to serve it with the same dedication and heart that have guided me throughout my career. I’m ready to bring fresh energy, accountability, and a values-driven approach to Swanton Township.
My highest priorities as Fiscal Officer are transparency, accuracy, and trust. I believe the community deserves clear, honest financial reporting and responsible stewardship of public funds. With over 32 years of experience in accounting and office management, I’m ready to bring that expertise to serve Swanton Township with integrity and care. I’ll accomplish this by: • Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring every dollar is accounted for • Communicating openly with residents so they understand how funds are being used • Promptly sharing requested records and clearly explaining what taxpayer money is spent on • Avoiding unnecessary spending • Collaborating closely with township leadership to support smart, community-focused decisions I’m committed to kindness, honesty, and transparency—and I’m ready to serve with purpose and heart.
