I’m not a career politician or an education insider. I’m a neighbor who believes our schools—and the School Board—should reflect our values: listen first, work together, plan honestly, and put people before politics. Too many decisions feel disconnected from families. I’ll meet with parents, teachers, and students before voting, ask tough questions, and weigh every perspective. That’s how you build trust and make better choices. I’m stepping up to serve and bring collaboration, accountability, respect, and stability—so our schools can focus on students and results.
Mike Procuk — U.S. Army veteran, husband, dad, and coach in Frederick County. After 20 years protecting DoD/DHS networks, I now work in federal contracting, delivering projects on time and on budget for the people they serve. I hold a B.S. in Social Science, an M.S. in IT & Homeland Security Management, and several professional certifications. Off the clock I’m on fields and in gyms: I run a nonprofit for girls’ sports and spend evenings coaching, umpiring, and cheering local kids. My wife, Jen, is PTO president at Greenwood Mill, where our twin daughters are in 5th grade; our oldest graduated from James Wood and served in the Army. I believe in Service, Integrity, Respect—and collaboration.
