I felt a call to serve after witnessing the politicization of the RCPS School Board over the past four years. I am not running on a platform - because a platform is a political word, built for sides and agendas. Instead, I bring a mindset - a mindset invites collaboration, problem-solving, and a shared vision for our schools.

My focus is to restore trust, provide leadership that unites our community, and ensure common sense decision-making free from partisan influence. My priorities include student well-being, academic excellence, innovative career pathways, fiscal stewardship, functional competency, and strengthening connections across the RCPS community.

My goal is clear: to make RCPS the Destination Division in Virginia!
I've been in the heart of education - teaching, leading, innovating, and shaping policies and practices that have strengthened students and our community. I'm a Registered Nurse who joined the RCPS community in 2006, serving as an Instructor at MTC. In 2014 I joined the JMU School of Nursing, serving as the Simulation Director. I have extensive instructional design experience aligned with regulatory standards, program administration, fiscal and personnel management, and building consensus through mutual respect and collaboration. My experience also includes navigating educational pathways to expand opportunities for students and families. I am proudly "undorsed" by a political party and committed to non-partisan leadership.
