Affordable Healthcare for all, Quality Education and Economic Opportunity, Affordable Housing and Strong Communities and Environmental Protection and Sustainable Growth
Legislation which would incentivize localities that adopt even more ambitious affordability standards with bonus state funding for schools, transportation, and infrastructure. Require new residential developments above a certain size to set aside a percentage as affordable. Permanently increase funding for the Housing Trust Fund through a dedicated revenue source. Strengthen anti-displacement protections by requiring landlords who receive state or local subsidies to maintain long-term affordability. Prioritize projects serving households earning below 60% of area median income. Establish a "Right to Counsel" program for tenants facing eviction. Create a workforce and rural housing investment act.
My priorities center on protecting vulnerable communities, investing in people, and defending essential services. Safeguard Medicaid, explore state-level backstops to protect healthcare for children, seniors, and people with disabilities. Ensuring funding for community health clinics, mental health services, and rural healthcare doesn't collapse with federal rollbacks. Expand school meals to fill the gap with universal free school breakfast and lunch programs at the state level. Support working families by creating a stat earned income tax credit expansion to counteract federal tax changes that hurt low-income workers. My priority is to put people over politics and protect the progress Virginians have fought for.
I support restoration of voters rights. Voting is a fundamental civic right. Many people who are disenfranchised continue to work, pay taxes and contribute to society. I view it as unfair and fundamentally undemocratic to deny them a say in how public resources are allocated or laws are made. When fewer people are disenfranchised, elections are more representative and democratic. Excluding people from voting silences voices that are often most effected by public policy.
I support the National Popular Vote. With NPV one person =one vote regardless of where they live making elections fairer and more representative. NPV strengthens democracy and fairness. Sometimes the Electoral College can produce a president who didn't win the most votes. NPV aligns the outcome with the will of the people, making our democracy more transparent and accountable.

If elected, my top priorities will be growing small businesses, expanding workforce development, and strengthening education particularly vocational and trade training starting in middle and high school. I also prioritize supporting school resource officers, improving access to practical mental health resources, and ensuring that Virginia remains safe, prosperous, and welcoming for all families.
I support legislation that removes unnecessary regulatory barriers for new housing construction while protecting neighborhoods from overdevelopment. This includes streamlining permitting for housing projects, providing incentives for mixed-income developments, and supporting first-time homebuyer programs. I also believe the state should provide legal clarity and protections for local governments to update zoning without costly delays.
Virginia must diversify its economy to reduce reliance on federal employment. I will prioritize workforce development programs that prepare Virginians for careers in trades, technology, and small business ownership. Strengthening our small business ecosystem, investing in vocational training, and attracting new industries will help offset federal budget impacts and sustain state revenue.
I support ensuring the integrity of Virginia elections while protecting the right to vote for eligible citizens. Any constitutional amendment should clearly define qualifications and restrictions in a way that is transparent, fair, and consistent with federal and state law. My focus is on secure, accessible, and trusted elections.
I do not support Virginia joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. While every vote should count, Virginia’s votes should maintain their influence under the Electoral College system, which ensures all states large and small have a voice in presidential elections. Preserving this balance is essential for fairness and representation.
