The House of Delegates, with the Senate, has the legislative power to enact laws, approve the budget, confirm the governor’s appointments, and elect judges and other public figures. The House of Delegates has 100 members who are elected from separate districts.Salary - $17,640/year base salary and other compensation including session per diem, mileage reimbursement, district office allowance, and interim meeting compensation.Term – 2 years
