Boonton Town Council Ward 2
Boonton is designated as a Town and is therefore governed by a Mayor and Council. The Town is divided geographically into four wards with two Council members elected per ward. Each ward contains two districts hence two Council members. The Mayor serves a 4-year term and is elected by residents from all four wards. Council members serve a 2-year term and are elected by the residents of their specific ward. Therefore, the governing body is a nine-member board that includes the Mayor and eight Council members (two per ward).

What do you consider the most important challenge(s) facing your town and how do you plan to address it/them?
What in your personal and/or professional experience prepares you for this office?
What will you do to support a vibrant economy in our community?
How has federal immigration policy affected your town and how would you address it?
How would you protect/improve your town's environmental quality while providing adequate transportation infrastructure and development in your town?
I think the biggest challenges facing our community right now are affordability and maintaining our green spaces. To address these issues I will explore options such as rent stabilization and encouraging smart affordable development. I also hope to push forward our trail project growing the use of our green spaces
I am a sitting council member. But I also manage a program for adults with developmental disabilities where we face challenges as they come and create person centered solutions the consider the needs of our individuals and the needs of the communities they live and work in.
I would love to see our main street grow into a B.I.D. where the businesses can work with the town to host events and advertise. Helping others see Boonton as the magical piece of Hallmark esque Americana we who live here already know it is
I know it is currently a terrifying time for immigrants in our nation and I would encourage us to continue to observe New Jersey's Sanctuary Policies.
I would like to work to protect our greenspaces and encourage redevelopment rather than new development to continue growth while protecting our greenspaces
