Balancing the rise and uses of new technology, and the need for increased personal connections and relationships for the benefit of our students' ability to learn and exercise creativity and critical thinking. New isn't always better, and Old isn't always antiquated. To serve all our students we need a comprehensive and collaborative combination of both.
I've served faithfully since 2021 and have many great accomplishments and programs that I'd like to see continued, as well as many in the process of being introduced, adopted and/or implemented. Some of those are a New Student Advisory Council, relationship with Legacy Education, and the JROTC program. I've worked hard to develop "First Name" communications with our Local, State and National Legislators and have participated in multiple workshops, webinars, townhalls, and work groups. My growing knowledge of the processes, what's a law, what's a regulation etc., is invaluable and I look forward to being re-elected.
Campbell County is a wonderful community where neighbors are there for each other, and our County Leadership works hard to keep our taxes low, while maintaining quality Education, Public Safety, and other important infrastructures running smoothly. Campbell County has been my home since 1994, and I've enjoyed all the benefits while raising a family, being self employed and now as a Community Leader.
