What are your priorities to address the impact on Virginia of the dramatic changes to the Federal Budget and the decrease of Virginia’s tax base due to the loss of Federal employment?
Do you support legislation allowing Virginia to adopt the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (would ensure that every Virginia vote for President is equal to those votes from every other state and DC, while also guaranteeing that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide wins the Presidency)?
If elected, what will be your top priorities for Virginia?
What will you do to ensure that all eligible residents have fair access to the voting process? How will you support civic education and engagement across your district?
My top priority is to ensure that our school systems have the financial support they need to weather this storm and continue to provide a world class education. I also believe we need to do more to provide support to federal workers who have lost their jobs, both in terms of short term support and helping them find their next job.
Yes, I have supported this legislation in the past and plan on doing so in the future as well.
Addressing the cost of living, making Virginia a better place for workers and improving our public school system.
I believe every eligible resident should have equal and fair access to the ballot box. I would work to remove barriers to voting by supporting measures such as expanded early voting, secure vote-by-mail options, accessible polling locations, and clear, multilingual voter information. Beyond access, I see civic education as essential to a healthy democracy. I would partner with schools, community groups, and local organizations to expand civic learning opportunities, encourage youth participation, and create forums where residents can engage directly with policy issues. By making voting both accessible and meaningful, we can empower more Virginians to take part in shaping their communities.
