Falls Church City Sheriff
The Sheriff s Office provides court security and prisoner transportation in addition to serving civil warrants and legal notices, as mandated by the Virginia Constitution and the Virginia Code. The office works in conjunction with the City of Falls Church Police Department in the performance of law enforcement functions including the issuance of traffic summonses, traffic control, special events, emergency response, and training exercises.

Over 20 years of dedicated and responsive public safety service to the City of Falls Church as Sheriff, Chief Deputy, Deputy Sheriff and Police Officer. Former practicing and currently licensed Virginia attorney, Certified Public Manager.

I have had the privilege of providing over 20 years of professional, responsive and dedicated public safety service to the residents of the City of Falls Church. Covid-19 response, body-worn and vehicle cameras, the City’s first e-bike patrol, traffic enforcement and pedestrian safety, community engagement, state and national traffic safety campaigns, crisis management as well as court security and administration measures are among the many public safety focuses of the Sheriff’s Office. As the City experiences unprecedented growth and development, essential and effective services remain a priority. As Sheriff, I look forward to continuing my unwavering commitment to the safety and security of the residents of the City of Falls Church.
