The election for the Hampton City Sheriff is on NOVEMBER 2, 2021. Virginia State House Delegates and the statewide candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General are also on the ballot. Write-in votes are permitted. Find campaign finance information for all candidates at www.vpap.orgThe candidates' own statements will be posted on VOTE411 as soon as they are received.Voters need to check the website of their Election Office (hampton.gov/263/Voter-Registrar) for the days, times and sites for voting. Register to vote deadline: October 12, 2021Request a mail-in ballot by 5 PM October 22.Be sure to promptly request your mail-in absentee ballots from the Virginia Department of Elections (elections.virginia.gov) or by visiting VOTE411.org/Virginia. Requests must be received by 5pm October 22.Early in-person voting begins September 17; ends October 30 at 5:00 PM.
