To reduce the amount of data centers developing in our area. Culpeper is a quaint little town close to Northern Virginia. That area has seen an influx of these centers. Our area needs to remain a historically preserved area to a degree and more data centers will impact that severely.
I am a man always for the people. I have always been in the field of public service and I believe that the community and the people of Culpeper should always come first before anything else. Without the citizens of this town, it would not be the amazing town that it has become over the years.
The preservation of history and culture of the town. With the advances of technology, many places have adapted to the times. Even though Culpeper has evolved over the years, it still retains areas that have preserved the history of this area and embraces it; especially our downtown area.

Large, unaffordable residential developments risk overburdening our infrastructure, particularly our schools, and pricing Culpeper residents out of their homes; data centers risk raising our utility bills and further contribute to the blackouts plaguing our community; and there is not enough things for kids to do in town. I will: bring tiny home villages to house our homeless and small starter homes for young families and make sure the schools are included in all our development discussions while also placing a moratorium on large housing developments; implement a moratorium on data centers; and bring a children’s museum to Culpeper alongside a year round, indoor pool.
Respectfully, the current mayor is a yes-man for big, out-of-town developers and data center lobbyists while also being under the thumb of the richest man in town. I am the only candidate who will stand up to those profiting from Culpeper’s unfettered development.
It’s big enough to blend in and small enough to get to know everyone; it really is the perfect sized town.
