I want to be part of a unified board whose sole focus is on the safest and best learning and teaching environment for the students and teachers of Orange County. I want to leave politics out of our decision making process. Our most pressing needs are to fast track the development of our new CTE program. We need to address the need for more competitive teacher salaries. We must be proactive in addressing the overcrowding that exist at some of our elementary schools. We need to continue to improve our outdoor athletic facilities.

I have been in Orange County Public Schools since 1961. My wife and I and my children attended and graduated from Orange schools. My grandchildren attend Orange County Public schools. I taught at Prospect Heights Middle School from 1978 - 2020. I still teach driver's ed at Orange High School. I coached at Prospect Heights and the high school for 45 years. I served as a middle school Athletic Director for over 30 years. I have been fundraising for the athletic program for my whole career. My daughter teaches at Orange County High School. I say all of this because I have been vested and continue to be vested in this school system. People know that I love these kids and teachers and are concerned for their well being.

I was born here and have lived here all my life. We are a rural community where people look after their neighbors and children. People are concerned about the future of our children and what our county can do them. We are unified in doing what's best for our kids. It's a great place to grow up and live and we want to make it even better.
