I bring over two decades of experience as a nonprofit leader, public servant, and advocate for equitable community development. As a Charlotte City Council Member since 2019, I’ve helped oversee multi-billion $ city budgets, prioritized infrastructure and housing investments, and championed transparency in government. I founded Triumph Services, an organization supporting individuals with brain injuries and behavioral health needs, giving me a unique perspective on how policy impacts lives. My proven track record, community-rooted leadership, and deep understanding of both systems and service make me the most qualified candidate to continue delivering results for our city.
1. Equitable Housing & Development Ensure responsible growth that expands affordable housing, prevents displacement, and requires real community collaboration from developers—especially in historically underserved areas.

2. Public Safety & Community Well-Being Support CMPD officer retention while expanding community-based violence prevention, youth programs, and mental health services to address root causes of crime.

3. Public Accountability & Transparent Government Push for greater transparency in decision-making, community-driven budgeting, and stronger oversight to ensure public resources are used equitably and effectively.
As a current Council Member, I’ve prioritized Equitable Housing & Development by championing policies that deliver real results for our communities. I supported Charlotte’s $100 million Housing Trust Fund, which expands both affordable rental options and access to homeownership for working families. I founded the District 4 Coalition to ensure meaningful community engagement in the development decisions, giving residents a stronger voice in shaping their neighborhoods. I also championed the City’s first and only Infrastructure Committee meeting, which led to a deeper evaluation of how we align housing, transportation, and utility investments with growth. I continue to fight for the preservation of affordable housing
