My career in real estate, business development, and leadership has given me the skills and perspective needed to serve Monroe effectively. As the former Global Head of Real Estate for TD Bank Group and Vice President of Real Estate for major corporations like Taco Bell and PepsiCo, I’ve overseen large-scale projects that required strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, budget management, and long-term vision. These experiences taught me how to balance growth with sustainability and cost control—principles that are directly relevant to municipal government. Beyond corporate leadership, I’ve dedicated time to mentoring and consulting through GSG Real Estate Consulting, helping organizations strengthen their operations and strategies. I was honored as “Man of the Year”, and named one of the “Top 3 Real Estate Executives” by CoreNet Global in 2013, a recognition that reflects my ability to deliver results and lead with integrity. I want to bring that same dedication, experience, and problem-solving approach to the Monroe Township Council to ensure our community continues to thrive while preserving the values that make it such a special place to live.
If I am elected, I will make smart growth and responsible development one of my top priorities. Monroe is growing, but that growth must be managed carefully to preserve the character of our town and protect our green spaces. With my extensive background in real estate development, I will work to ensure that new projects meet the needs of residents, enhance quality of life, and fit with the long-term vision for Monroe. Additionally, I will work to strengthen our infrastructure through environmentally friendly upgrades, energy-efficient building practices, and improved transportation access. My goal is to keep Monroe a thriving, forward-thinking community that balances growth with affordability, sustainability, and the values that make our town such a special place to live.
The Master Plan outlines an exciting vision for Monroe’s future, and if I am elected, I will use my background in real estate and business development to help bring it to life. I will advocate for sustainable growth by promoting green building practices, energy-efficient infrastructure, and community spaces that enhance both wellness and environmental health. I also see opportunities to revitalize underutilized areas through mixed-use development, creating spaces where housing, businesses, and recreation can come together to serve residents’ needs. Equally important is how we communicate and involve residents. I believe strongly in transparency and engagement, which means sharing regular updates through council meetings, newsletters, social media, and community events. By working hand-in-hand with residents, I will make sure our progress reflects the priorities of the people who call Monroe home.
The most critical challenge Monroe faces is balancing growth with the preservation of its small-town character and quality of life, which residents value. If I am elected, I will use my experience leading large-scale real estate projects to make sure development is strategic, sustainable, and respectful of our community’s values. I will advocate for policies that protect green space, prevent overdevelopment in residential areas, and encourage thoughtful mixed-use projects that support both businesses and housing needs. Just as necessary, I will work hand-in-hand with residents to ensure their voices guide how Monroe grows, so that progress strengthens, not diminishes, our town’s livability.
State-mandated affordable housing is a challenge for every municipality, but it also gives us the chance to strengthen our community if handled responsibly. If elected, I will work to ensure any new development aligns with Monroe’s character, focusing on mixed-income housing for seniors looking to downsize and veterans that meet state requirements while protecting our schools, roads, and infrastructure. My background in real estate gives me the experience to manage these complex projects thoughtfully and strategically. I also want to commend Mayor Dalina and his administration for how they’ve managed this issue so far. Monroe has complied with state mandates while going above and beyond to preserve open space and protect our quality of life. As Councilman, I will work with the Mayor and my colleagues to continue this balanced approach, ensuring new housing complements our community rather than changes it.
When I become a Councilman, I will work with the Mayor and my colleagues on Council to ensure Monroe remains both affordable and a great place to live. My background in business and real estate has taught me how to control costs, improve efficiency, and plan strategically. I will bring that experience to our municipal budget by working to streamline services, eliminate waste, and make sure every tax dollar is spent wisely. I will also work with the Mayor to continue the town’s promotion of responsible economic growth that generates new revenue without compromising our community’s character. Attracting the right businesses will expand our tax base and ease the burden on homeowners, while still protecting essential services like public safety, infrastructure, and recreation. My focus will always be on keeping Monroe affordable while improving the quality of life for all residents.
