Personal Biography Born in Phoenix Arizona and lived in Phoenix and Flagstaff until I was 18. Went to Texas for college and then joined the US Air Force where I spent 20 years. Retired and decided to settle down in Kansas
Education Texas A&M BS Electrical Engineering; Colorado State MBA; Air Force Institute of Technology MS in Logistics
Positive collaboration across teachers, administrators and board members. Continued focus on strategic plan execution amidst uncertainty generated by shifts in federal and state actions. Improve the education system to the betterment of the community.
20 year military veteran. Worked as an analyst at the Pentagon. Led teams, both large and small to address both acute problems as well as steady state operations.
Full openness. Shelving of personal agendas. Listening to the community desires as well as teacher and administration needs. Responsible use of power to enable and enhance the school districts work, rather than to constrain it.
