I served 31 years as a public school teacher and spent a lifetime dedicated to advocating for public education. Throughout my career, I have been a strong advocate for public education. Kansas educators elected her to serve on the National Education Association's Board of Directors where I lobbied for Kansas students, educators, and public education on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. I'm running because I know what our students and teachers really need — and I/m ready to bring that firsthand experience to the school board.
