Previously served on the Board from 2013-2022. During that time served as President and Vice President, served on the Personnel Committee and Construction Bond Executive Committee; served as Western Region Director of NSBA's National Council of Black School Board Members; member of the Executive Steering Committe of NFUSSD; currenly serve on the Boards of Topeka Rescue Mission, Topeka Boys & Girls Clubs; Top City Community Foundation, and Living the Dream, Inc.; member of Heartland Sertoma and Youth Pastor of The New Beginning Baptist Church

Previous service on the Board; commitment to the District's Mission which is to engage, prepare, and inspire every student that passes through its doors to a lifetime of excellence; have worked since 2013 in a SPED classroom; mentor and tutor students to help them on their journey to academic success; 28 plus years of Construction administration experience. I believe in leading by serving.
Every Board member should be accountable, available, and accessible to those they are elected to serve. I feel that once one takes the oath of office, they enter a commitment to students first and foremost, student's families, district patrons, district employees, district leadership, Superintendent, and fellow Board members.
