The Georgia Public Service Commission ensures that consumers receive safe, reliable, and reasonably priced telecommunications, electric, and natural gas services. Five elected Commissioners, supported by about 85 staff members, make decisions that affect the lives of Georgians each time a landline telephone is picked up, a light is turned on, or a gas burner is used.
