I am the current President and former Vice-President of the Malta Avenue PTA. I am also is native of Ballston Spa and attended Malta Avenue Elementary and the Ballston Spa Middle and High Schools.
I am very grateful for my children’s school experience in the district so far. I am invested in our public schools. I put my time, thought, and care into what I believe to be important. School is important. I have demonstrated my commitment to the District with my intense time commitment to the PTA and I want to bring this school-level parent perspective to the District level on the Board.
The uncertainty surrounding federal policies and funding is disconcerting at the school level. We have to continue to support our District initiatives, high-quality programs, and extracurriculars to ensure consistency, opportunity, and a safe environment for all students.

Parents/caregivers, teachers, staff, administration, and the larger community are all important, but the students are the most important.
My mission is to support our exceptional school district by championing every student’s success and promoting an inclusive community. -I want to help use the district’s resources to build on our strengths and support the best education for our students. -We need to support our dedicated and professional educators and staff with respect for their expertise, opportunities for professional development, and support for what they need. -I will have collaborative, cooperative and respectful discussions to act in the best interests of our students. Thank you. It is an honor to be considered.

I was previously a member of the Ballston Spa CSD Board of Education from 2021-2024.
I want to see all students be provided the ability to obtain a meaningful diploma from our district. I am more than ready to work with our Board to oversee the District, to ensure it meets its mission statement, and to work with the feedback from constituents to provide the services our students need to thrive.
The concern over what may become of federal funding due to the shifting landscape looms large overhead. It's my main priority to ensure the District’s ability to provide its programs and resources remain constant in the face of this.

All of our constituents are important, and require our attention when they speak up for the good of our district. Ultimately, our students should always be our top priority and what we do should clear the path to their success.
If elected, it will be my utmost priority to ensure the tools and resources our District provides to our students remain constant. The ability to achieve a meaningful diploma should be afforded to all students, and they should be provided the environment to see that through.
