I am proud to be seeking my third term on the Waterford Board of Education. Over the past six years, I have been an active and vocal advocate for our students, teachers, and families, always striving to ensure that our schools provide the highest quality education. My service on the boards of both the W-H Sports Booster Club and the PTO since 2013 has deepened my understanding of our district’s needs and strengthened my connection to the community. These roles have given me valuable experience in collaboration, leadership, and supporting programs that benefit our children. I remain committed to listening, learning, and working hard to make a positive impact on the future of Waterford’s schools.
As a current board member, I fully understand the level of commitment this role demands — and I take that responsibility seriously. I have missed only one regularly scheduled meeting during my tenure, reflecting my strong dedication to showing up, listening, and doing the work. I remain committed to making thoughtful decisions that support our schools and help every student thrive.
My #1 concern this year is student mental health. I believe that emotional well-being is the foundation for academic success. Supporting our students with the resources they need to thrive mentally and emotionally is not just a priority — it is essential to their overall development and future achievement. I remain committed to advocating for programs and policies that put student well-being at the center of our educational mission.

While I believe students are our most important constituents, I also recognize the need to serve all five key groups in our school system: students, parents, educators, administrators, and taxpayers. Each plays a critical role in the success of our district, and I am committed to making thoughtful, balanced decisions that reflect the needs of our entire community.
I am proud to be a current member of the board, and I believe I still have much more to give. With your support, I look forward to continuing this important work on behalf of the Waterford community.

As a lifelong resident of Waterford-Halfmoon, I have always had a deep-rooted passion for our school district and community. During my time as a student, I served as Class President, participated in Student Government, and was actively involved in the athletic program, experiences that shaped my leadership and commitment to service.
Currently, I have the privilege of serving as a board member of the Sports Booster Club, where I’ve been actively involved for the past three years. I have also been a dedicated parent of two children who attended Waterford-Halfmoon, proudly following in the same traditions of academic and extracurricular excellence.
You can find me supporting nearly every school event, from Coaches vs. Cancer games and Bingo Nights to Fordian Fever Weekend, Tag Days, and even the 50/50 tables. Whether I’m decorating the halls of the school or rallying support at fundraisers, my commitment to our students and community never wavers.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been co-founding the “Breast Brunch Ever,” which has raised over $100,000 for the American Cancer Society, highlighting my dedication to making a difference for causes I care deeply about.
Academically, I hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from UAlbany. My passion for education and giving back has always driven me to ensure students at Waterford-Halfmoon have the best experience possible.
As a candidate for the Board of Education, my vision is centered on collaboration, continued growth through innovative learning, and increasing community involvement. I believe in always striving to do better for our students, our teachers, and our future.
