With over 23 years of experience as a middle school teacher, and two term trustee, I bring a deep understanding of education, learning, and the diverse needs of students and families.
I will work to ensure that our library is a place where all community members, from children to seniors, have access to the resources they need for personal and academic growth. I am passionate about supporting programs that foster creativity, literacy, and learning for all ages. We’ll continue to expand and diversify our offerings to meet the needs of our growing community. Please see the programs available to you on our website: https://stillwater.sals.edu/
As an educator and a library trustee, I am deeply committed to the values of literacy, learning, and community engagement. The Stillwater Library has played a pivotal role in my life and in the lives of countless others. I am running for re-election because I believe in the transformative power of libraries, and I am dedicated to ensuring that the Stillwater Library continues to serve as an inclusive and innovative community hub.
I believe funding and accessibility are two of the biggest challenges that libraries must face today. Alongside the library staff and director, I will continue to ensure our library is accessible to all, offers programs that benefit a variety of people and continues to assess the needs of Stillwater Library Patrons. I’ll continue to advocate for the funding and resources necessary to maintain high-quality services and ensure the library is a sustainable asset for future generations.
