I have served and continue to serve in various capacities within the Shenendehowa school district. I served at Gowana Middle School PTA President for 2 years, I am currently on the High School Partnership team, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Counseling Advisory Council. Shenendehowa Foundation Committee and Shen Football Booster Club President.
I have been actively involved in the Shenendehowa community since for the last seven years and serve on many different committees across various functions within the district. I know first-hand what it means to be personally committed. I embrace the district's commitments to excellence for all students. I have 2 boys in the Shen High School, and I have been very engaged in their academic experience since the day they started at Shen. I embrace and practice the core value and the mission of Shenendehowa School District: To work continuously and in partnership with the community to ensure that all students develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities and character needed to live useful, productive and rewarding lives.
My number one concern is the safety of our students. This is across different aspects of safety, from conflict and violence mental health, and inclusive culture. In addition, Federal control, funding cuts and overreach into schools.

School Boards engages across all stakeholder groups to ensure collaboration and partnership. The school board acts as a voice of the community and ensuring that the board aligns with needs of the community. It is also critical for the board to reflect the values and priorities of the district. The board is accountable, communication between the board and the community is vital for success.
My highest priority for my children and for all the students is providing them with the best possible education and character-building opportunities. I can offer the Shen Community as a school board member these important qualities: integrity, honesty, leadership, collaboration, consistent communication, and effective decision-making abilities.
