The most important challenges facing Morristown are ensuring open and transparent government, restoring fiscal responsibility, protecting affordability for all residents, and balancing growth with strong infrastructure by providing a check on rapid overdevelopment.
I believe government must be open and accessible, giving our community opportunities to comment, weigh in, and truly be a part of shaping Morristown's future. I will work to expand public engagement so residents have a real voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives.
Under the current Administration, residents were blindsided by a steep tax increase that was poorly explained and irresponsibly handled. This failure has placed a heavy burden on homeowners by an average of $1170. I will restore fiscal responsibility by demanding transparency in how every dollar is spent, seeking out new non-tax revenue and grants, and holding the line on unnecessary spending so families are not forced to shoulder more than their fair share.
Finally, I am committed to improving the overall quality of life in Morristown. That means keeping our town safe, vibrant and welcoming but also ensuring it remains affordable.
I have run my own law practice for the last six years, and have handled hundreds of cases involving an array of issues, and a variety of clients from all backgrounds. In doing so, I have managed client relationships, client expectations, the finances of my practice, and solved issues that have often seemed intractable. While the specific issues we will face in office are slightly different, the same types of characteristics that I have used to grow my practice and maintain strong client relationships applies to this office.
I have also grown up in this town, and have seen it develop (both in good and bad ways), and had first hand experience in the political process, seeing my dad serve as mayor from 1997-2005. I have served in civic organizations like the Knights of Columbus, Rotary, and Morristown Beautiful, which have allowed me to help serve the town with a wide variety of people.
A strong economy depends on trust, safety and stability. I will ensure open and transparent government so businesses, investors, and residents know that decisions are fair, predictable, and made with community input. I will maintain reliable infrastructure and public safety so Morristown remains a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and visit. I will be fiscally responsible by managing budgets wisely and avoiding sudden tax spikes that hurt families and discourage growth. And I will support local businesses directly by reducing red tape, encouraging investment, and creating opportunities for small businesses to thrive.
Immigration is primarily a federal issue but it's effects are felt here in Morristown. We need to approach it with both compassion and responsibility--protecting taxpayers while also showing care for those seeking a new home. I will work through our partners such as the Board of Health, social services, and both County and State agencies, to ensure that any necessary services are delivered fairly and efficiently. I will also stay closely informed on how federal policy evolves, so our community is prepared for what may be expected and can respond in a way that balances compassion with fiscal responsibility.
First, we need to stay on top of maintaining our existing properties and ensure they don't fall into disrepair, which ends up costing taxpayers more in the long run. I will work with the Parking Authority to expand access to electric vehicle charging stations at fair and reasonable rates. I will also prioritize fixing potholes and maintaining safe, reliable roads, while creating more recreation areas that improve quality of life and give everyone more opportunities to enjoy Morristown.
In Morristown, we are fortunate to live in a community that is constantly growing and evolving, but with that comes challenges we must face head-on. One area that continues to be a concern is North Park Place. These vacant properties are in a prime location, and I believe it’s important that we keep pressing for development that will bring new life and vibrancy to that part of our town.
Another issue is the hospital expansion. Our hospital provides essential care and resources for our residents and while growth can bring benefits, it also affects surrounding neighborhoods. Making sure residents’ voices are heard is important so that any changes reflect both the needs of the hospital and the character of our town.
Pedestrian and bike safety is also something I take seriously. Morristown is a walkable town, and we need to continue working with the state and county to push for crosswalk and roadway improvements that make it even safer for everyone.
Lastly, homelessness and food insecurity remain a challenge. Morristown is home to many organizations that provide critical support. Our approach must be rooted in empathy and respect, while also pursuing long-term solutions.
With nearly 30 years of experience in Human Resources, I have developed skills in listening, problem-solving, and advocacy — all essential for public service. For the past 13 years as Councilwoman At-Large, I have worked closely with residents, businesses, and community partners to improve the quality of life for our residents.
Beyond the Council, I co-founded and serve as president of Our Youth Their Future Inc., a nonprofit supporting local youth through education, awareness, and annual community events, including an annual holiday party in which we distribute toys to kids in our community. I have also served as a liaison to the Morristown Parking Authority and Morristown Partnership Boards. My commitment to serving others continues to guide me, ensuring Morristown remains a place where all residents feel heard, valued, and supported.
A vibrant economy in Morristown is about more than just business—it’s about creating a town where residents and visitors alike feel welcome and inspired to explore, shop, and dine. I support our local businesses and continue to do so by participating in community events and advocating for clean, safe streets and public spaces that make our downtown inviting.
The past couple of years presented personal challenges for me, but my commitment to our town’s economic health has never wavered. Moving forward, I will continue to champion initiatives that help our businesses grow, ensure our streets and public areas remain welcoming, and work to keep Morristown a thriving, vibrant community for all.
Morristown is a vibrant and diverse community. which is one of our greatest strengths and I am committed to ensuring all residents feel safe, welcomed, and valued, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or immigration status. Recent federal immigration policies have created fear and uncertainty for some members of our community, and it is important that our town remain a place where everyone feels safe and welcomed. I will continue to support initiatives that uphold Morristown as an open and inclusive community for all.
Morristown’s parks and open spaces are vital to our quality of life, and I am committed to protecting and maintaining them while planning responsibly for growth. Listening to residents’ feedback and working collaboratively with experts allows us to balance environmental preservation with transportation and infrastructure needs. By approaching development thoughtfully, we can ensure Morristown remains a welcoming, connected, and vibrant community for all.

1. North Park Place
Continued pressure on the landlord to develop these vacant properties. This is prime real estate in town, and our community deserves to have this area developed.
2. Hospital expansion
Continued, transparent conversations with the hospital executives and our community to ensure that concerns are heard, and considerations are made.
3. Pedestrian/bicycling safety
Morristown is a very walkable town. We have some areas in town where we are awaiting state action for crosswalk improvements. We need to continue putting pressure on the state and county to continue to put pedestrian/bicycler safety first.
4. Parks and waterways
The town has invested a lot of resources in cleaning and protecting our parks and waterways. We must continue to listen to our community and continue to enhance these great community resources.
5. Homelessness/food insecurity
Morristown as the county seat is home to many non-profit organizations, many of which focus on homelessness and food insecurity. We are working with the state to find permanent housing for homeless in Morristown, and we must continue to treat our homeless population with empathy and respect.
As an at-large councilman for four years, previously serving on the environmental commission and housing authority. I have served as council vice president for one year (2023) and for two years as council president (2024-2025). Very involved and active in the community. Actively participate in community events and fundraisers. Current vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the Interfaith Food Pantry Network, advisory council member for Covenant House-NJ, board member of Morristown Grapplers wrestling club and certified YMCA swim official. Active supporter of Morristown Area Little League (MALL), ARC Morris, Homeless Solutions, Grow it Green, Morris Arts, Mayo Community Theater, Family Promise and Visions and Pathways. My bachelor’s degree was in biology, minor in Spanish, and I have an MBA in international business and management. I am employed by Sanofi for almost 20 years in patient safety and previously worked at hospitals and nursing home as a nursing assistant.
Actions speak louder than words. I’m very active and love my community. If I see an issue, I roll up my sleeves and address it. I support small businesses and restaurants in Morristown and have served as council liaison to the Morristown Partnership. Morristown has become a destination town due to our community theater and nightlife, and I’ve supported initiatives such as the hiring of additional police foot patrol, the cleaning of our sidewalks in our business district, and coordinated efforts with multiple stakeholders to bring Motown Heroes to town. In partnership with my employer, Sanofi, I spearheaded the Company to adopt the Morristown train station and will be involved with quarterly plantings and clean ups. My goal is to make Morristown a place where businesses want to start, stay, and grow, and where residents feel proud to shop, dine, and work. To do that, we need to engage more proactively with the county for resources and support.
Morristown is a very diverse community. There is strength in diversity. Recent federal immigration policy has instilled fear in our immigrant community. People are afraid to leave their house, attend appointments, shop for food. Morristown has been and will continue to be an open and welcoming community for all, regardless of race, sexual orientation or immigration status.
Morristown has beautiful parks, to name a few: Lidgerwood, Footes Pond Wood, Budd Street Park, Woodhull Park, Speedwell Lake and Lake Pocohontas. I have attended almost every organized clean up, have planted trees and shrubs in partnership with our Shade Tree commission, and have involved my children in these efforts. We need to continue to protect our parks and open spaces, listen to community feedback and act, when appropriate.
Morristown needs additional parking, and the town council has worked collaboratively with our parking authority to expand Lot 10. This area will be redeveloped, ensuring we consider residents in this area and work with traffic experts to identify the best traffic flow patterns.
