Town Where You Live Enterprise
Your Experience/Qualifications I am retired after 51 years of ministry. I have performed many services in various cemeteries and would like to be a part of keeping our local cemetery a place of comfort and pride in our community.
County Wallowa
I have served on many boards during my 51 years of ministry. Church boards and various community boards.
We need to keep the lawn/landscaping in good order. The cemetery should be a 'place of pride' for the community as visitors make use of the grounds.
As with many community services, we are striving to keep on a delicate balance of charging what is needed for services now and in the future. The money we receive from property tax assessments allows us to run a modest service. Major projects require outside funding. We must find a delicate balance to charging what is need to maintain proper services and charging too much to families who are processing through their grief. Knowing the charges of other cemeteries, I find that the Enterprise cemetery is quite reasonable.
