Protecting Maine’s environment, advancing renewable energy policies to reduce carbon emissions, and mitigating the effects of climate change; creating economic opportunity and addressing workforce needs through strong K-12 public education and increased access to higher education, community colleges and the trades; and developing policies to help Maine families make ends meet in the face of rising costs (housing, groceries, heat, child care, prescription drugs etc.)
I encourage residents to reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns. I also welcome residents to visit the State House and see the legislature at work first hand. I host many residents (including students!) during the legislative session, and I hope it helps to demystify the process and make it more accessible.
Over the last two years, the legislature has made significant investments in new affordable housing. We should continue to increase the supply of affordable housing by incentivizing new development through existing programs and tax credits. In addition, we can help new home buyers get into today’s high priced market by increasing support for first-time homeownership.
It has been my sincere honor to represent Falmouth in Augusta for the last two years. I appreciate the trust residents have put in me. If re-elected, I will work very hard to deliver on the issues that matter most to Falmouth residents, including high quality public education, environmental protection, strong civil rights, and careful management of taxpayer funds.
